Associate Freelance Training Instructors
We currently have Associate Trainers delivering training, but are still interested in Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Training Instructors who are willing to work part time on demand and deliver IPS training courses both in Kent or other parts of the UK. 

Have a look at our
Training Courses tab and if you can deliver any of these courses we would be interested in hearing from you. Generally we look for a high level of technical exerience and competence along with either supervision and management experience or training delivery experience. Previous experience in training is not a pre-requisite.

Mechanical  Maintenance Apprentice Trainer needed:

Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary Circa: £26,500

IPS International is seeking Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Training Instructors who can be a full-time employee or part-time to fit in with our training schedule.  As part of our Engineering Apprenticeship training team, you’ll be passing on your experience of industrial maintenance using our bespoke training programmes.

The Mechanical Training Instructor should have excellent experience of pipework systems, pneumatics and hydraulics, as well as bearings, belts and chains, coupling alignment, gears and pumps in an engineering maintenance workplace. 

Previous experience as a training instructor or NVQ Assessor or as a supervisor is an advantage, training to become an NVQ assessor can be provided.  It is essential that you are a good and confident communicator who likes working with people and can deliver practical skills training.  You will need excellent computer skills able to work with both MS Word and Excel and Outlook 365 Email.

Electrical Maintenance Apprentice Trainer needed:

IPS International is seeking Electrical or Multi-Skilled Training Instructors who can be a full-time employee or part time to fit in with our training schedule.  As part of our Engineering Apprenticeship training team you’ll be passing on your experience of industrial maintenance using our bespoke training programmes.

The Electrical Training Instructor should have very good experience of wiring and fault-finding three phase motors, starters, and electrical control circuits.  Also, experience of commercial and factory premises and a working knowledge of PLC’s and some industrial electronics is an advantage.   
Previous experience as a training instructor or NVQ Assessor or as a supervisor is an advantage.  Training to become an NVQ assessor can be provided.  It is essential that you are a good and confident communicator who likes working with people and can deliver practical skills training.  When you deliver training, you need to know basics and you also need to know the Electricity at Work Act and the IEE electrical wiring regulations.   You will need good computer skills able to work with both MS Word and Excel and Outlook 365 Email.
