It’s World Youth Skills Day and what better way to mark it than talking about IPS International’s contribution and commitment to Youth Skills.
What is World Youth Skills Day?
In 2014 the United Nations General Assembly declared July 15th as World Youth Skills Day. The day aims to celebrate the strategic importance of ensuring young people have the skills for employment, work, and entrepreneurship. This day also showcases the global challenges and advancing sustainable development.
At IPS International we are committed to empowering the next generation by ensuring they have the best skills and support for their chosen career path. We are not only Apprenticeship advocates, but we are working with businesses and employers to ensure apprentices get the necessary skills needed and to future-proof them.
IPS Apprenticeships:
At IPS International we have a range of apprenticeships available which include:
Engineering & Manufacturing
Automotive
Health and Early Years
Construction & Logistics
Business & Digital Skills
The length a location of your apprenticeship will differ depending on your chosen area and level of apprenticeship. You can explore all our apprenticeships online and we are always on hand to answer any questions you might have.
Training Methods:
At IPS we have selected an amazing leadership team who have a wealth of commercial industry experience and who can transfer a wide range of skills and knowledge to the next generation.
Our training methods are focused on having a blended learning approach. With inhouse and on the job training. We work seamlessly with employers to ensure our learners get the most out of their apprenticeship and the requirements expected.
In addition to our apprenticeships, we also do various technical training courses. We offer them for:
Mechanical & Welding
Electrical & Instrumentation
E-learning
Education.
This is our way of future-proofing. The learning never stops as we must adapt and evolve with the ever-changing industries. We do a limited amount of online learning too which helps to make it easily accessible.
Testimonials:
Don’t just take our word for it, here are what some of our apprentices/employers have to say:
- At the end of the day, you’re going to get a qualification, experience and get paid for it so definitely worth it. Ellis
- The guidance from my mentors both here at National Grid and at IPS through my trainer have really helped me and I have always felt supported. They also guided me with the short courses that I could explore and take up so as I could further upskill, and these have been useful in my role.” Alex Singer
- “The fact that I have now taken on 3 apprentices speaks volumes that I believe it’s a fantastic service to bring in younger staff members and gives the ability to train and mould them into exactly what you need for the business.” Phoenix Medical Practice
