Electro Pneumatics
Candidates will be given a refresher on how pneumatic control works, then move on to electro-pneumatics which incorporates 24v relay and PLC control. Candidates will be asked to assemble and test range of electro-pneumatic circuits using different elements in a 24v and PLC configuration.
For those who have not attended E4, this course maybe considered as an introduction to a PLC.
How different electro-pneumatic components work, assemble and test a range of circuits using 24v and PLC control, write a PLC programme to control various system components, and diagnose a range of faults.

Know how to assemble and test an electro-pneumatic circuit using 24V and PLC control
Know how to read pneumatic & electro-pneumatic schematics
Know how to read a ladder logic diagram
Know how to use the PLC to diagnose a range of faults
