Motor Control Devices
Candidates will be introduced to different types of electric motors and a range of devices associated with controlling their speed and position. Candidates will have the opportunity to set a range of motor control parameters such as those associated with a variable speed drives, encoders and other devices.
How motor speed and position control devices for different types of motors are wired and programmed, setting and testing a motor control device including checking for faults, use schematics and device programme information to set a motor control function.

2-day duration
These courses are intended to enhance existing skills or introduce electrical skills for the first time- i.e. multi-skilling. Where possible, we recommend that candidates complete each module consecutively. The full course description in our brochure will identify which modules are stand-alone.
