Panel Distribution Circuits
This course will extend the work completed in E1. Candidates will be introduced to panel layout, further work on component recognition including the introduction of external sensors. Candidates will also spend time reading and using schematics to complete a circuit.
- Wiring components into a panel, motor star/delta configuration, fitting external sensors, using a schematic to assemble, test and fault find in a panel, use different control voltages.
Know how to perform a safe isolation
Know how to read schematic
Know how to assemble and test a motor star/delta configuration
Know how to assemble and test a circuit with additional components using a schematic
Know how to diagnose a range of faults in a panel
3-day duration
These courses are intended to enhance existing skills or introduce electrical skills for the first time- i.e. multi-skilling. Where possible, we recommend that candidates complete each module consecutively. The full course description in our brochure will identify which modules are stand-alone.
Bespoke courses are available. Please let us know if you have any specific elements that you wish to be included in the modules.
