Candidates will be introduced to a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and use it in a control panel. Candidates will be shown the difference between an input and an output in a PLC and be made aware of the system terminology and architecture. Although an introductory course, candidates will also be given the opportunity to write some short programmes to see how a PLC system works.
