Apprentices attend our training centre for three consecutive days each month across a three-month period, focusing on developing core knowledge and practical skills. In the fourth month, the trainer visits the workplace to carry out an employer review, ensuring progress is aligned with workplace requirements. This four-month cycle repeats throughout the two-year programme, providing a structured balance of centre-based learning and on-the-job development.
This qualification also includes the mandatory diploma which, in this case, is the Level 2 Diploma in Property Maintenance through City and Guilds (9673-11).
On completion, learners will gain the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Property Maintenance and then may choose to progress on to a career such as a technical specialist e.g. electrical or plumbing and supervisory or management roles e.g. facilities management, across a wide range of sectors.
