NVQ Signmaking (Installation only) – Level 2

Signage businesses supply signage products and services to a wide range of customers, within the

    and manifestations

    What You'll Learn

The qualification consists of 7 units and each of the projects provided along with observations, across a number of different units making the 6 month deadline an achievable and realistic timeframe.

    Units covered comprise of:

    • Unit 1 – Health and Safety
    • Unit 2 – Working Relationships
    • Unit 3 – Providing Information about Sign Products
    • Unit 4 – Maintain Quality of Sign Products
    • Unit 5 – Prepare for sign operations
    • Unit 6 – Prevent Damage During Transportation
    • Unit 21 – Carrying out Installation

    Course Objective

There will be a total of 4-5 visits mixed between site and online meetings and throughout these, the candidate will be required to write up a total of 5 projects and complete 2 observations.

All work submissions should be timely in order to stick to the 6 month deadline. Should further time be required and if this was down to visit cancellations by the Learner or
lack of commitment to the course, there may be additional charges for the extension of the qualification. For example, an additional 3 months would be charged at 25% of the
original quotation. The key here is to maintain visits and stay on target with the project deadlines. We do however appreciate that life and personal issues can get in the way and so long as these are communicated, these fees are less likely to be charged as we take pride in our communications with the employer and Learner so expect this to work the
other way with employer and provider too.

    Time Frame

The Learner will have 6-months to complete this qualification.

    COST

The cost of this course per person starts from
£1800 + vat as costs could incur charges for travel
    outside of Kent borders.
