This health and social care qualification can be funded by student learner loans or commercially.

The Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care is an occupational qualification for learners who work in adult care settings in England. This qualification will enable learners to confirm their occupational competence in a range of roles such as:

This qualification covers a range of topics directly related to the knowledge and skills needed to work in health and social care, with adults. All learners will complete the mandatory units and then a selection of optional units,
allowing them to tailor their learning and acquire specific knowledge and skills,
appropriate to the setting where they work and to their job role. This is a framework qualification.

A minimum of 12 months is expected.

The City & Guilds Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Care providing they are in an appropriate job role. Opportunities may also be available to progress to apprenticeships for the Lead Practitioner in Adult Care, Leader in Care, or to higher education programmes, providing all entry requirements are met.
